Worker trapped in a cable drum atop a crane

A fatal accident happened on 20 September 2017 around 10.00am. a worker was carrying out checks on the gearbox of a crane by standing on a narrow platform next to the cable drum atop a rubber tyred gantry (RTG) crane. He was found unresponsive with the right side due to the fact that his body was trapped in between the cable drum and the platform. The worker had to be free out but was pronounced dead at the scene of accident.
