On 3rd November 2016, two workers were resting in a work area. A tipper truck was reversing and ran over these two workers who happened to be in the reversing path. One of the workers died at the scene, while the other worker passed away from his injuries in hospital later in the day.

The Ministry of Manpower has commenced investigations into the accident.
